White House Bay, Jamaica

The former fishing village of White house Bay, now a popular beach resort, is located on the southwest coast of Jamaica just an hour and a half from Montego Bay and is part of Westmoreland County. The first settlers on the territory of Westmoreland were the Arawak and Siboney Indians, also known as the “cave people”, who arrived in South America around 500 BC. e.

And their settlements were located along the cliffs in Negril – there are still preserved labyrinths of caves and passages, which are now located under the Xtabi Hotel.
