Geography
As a country located in Oceania listed on neovideogames, Nauru is located west of Kiribati in the South Pacific. The coral island is surrounded by a reef that is visible at low tide. There is no deep-water port, but offshore anchorages are said to be in the deepest waters in the world. A fertile coastal strip separates the coral-streaked beaches from the interior. Here is a 60 m high coral cliff, behind which a high-grade phosphate plateau rises. With the exception of a tiny area on the bank of a shallow lagoon, this region is uninhabited; a few shrub-like trees form the only vegetation.
