Marshall Islands Industry

The Marshall Islands industry is relatively undeveloped and contributes about a tenth of the gross domestic product (GDP).

In the factories, fish and agricultural products are processed. Coconut oil and copra (dried coconut) are produced and tuna is preserved in a facility on the capital city of Majuro.

The construction industry has ups or downs due to investments in infrastructure and tourism projects, such as hotel construction.
