Domestic political situation The first elections since 2006 took place on September 17, 2014.
The security situation is currently normal. It cannot be ruled out that the security situation will deteriorate quickly and unexpectedly. Appropriate cautious behavior is recommended, for example avoiding large gatherings and rallies, refraining from public expressions of political opinion and keeping up to date with current developments through the media. It cannot be ruled out that even peaceful demonstrations can turn into violent clashes at any time.
