Burgin, Kentucky is a small city located in Mercer County, just south of Lexington. It is bordered by the cities of Harrodsburg and Danville to the west, and Wilmore and Nicholasville to the east. The city’s population is just over 1,200 people and its total area is about 2 square miles.
